And at CrossFit No Plan B, weightlifters, CrossFitters, and coaches of all levels will have the opportunity to learn and practice Chinese weightlifting techniques!

The Ma Strength Level 1 seminar will teach you the Chinese technique for the snatch and the clean and jerk over a 2-day course. You will receive group and individual coaching.

For athletes, the goal of this seminar is to learn how to perform these movements consistently in order to optimize their training.

For coaches, the seminar will teach you the key points on weightlifting technique to improve your analysis.

Course objectives

  • Understanding the philosophy of Chinese weightlifting and its scientific principles to understand why they are so effective.
  • Master a 7-part progression to perform a snatch move from the platform.
  • Perform 6 progressive movements to complete a clean and jerk from the platform.
  • Learn 5 progressive movements that will allow you to perform a squat jerk and a split jerk like a pro.
  • An electronic certificate is issued upon completion of the seminar. Ma Strength seminars are certified by CrossFit and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and may be eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs). Please check with your organization regarding CEU equivalency.
