And at Lucifer Cross Training, weightlifters, CrossFitters, instructors, and coaches of all levels will have the opportunity to learn and practice Chinese weightlifting techniques!

The MaStrength Level 1 seminar will teach you the Chinese snatch and clean and jerk techniques. Over the course of two days, you’ll engage in extensive practice, receiving individual and group feedback.

For athletes, the goal of this workshop is to learn how to perform these movements consistently to maximize your workouts.

For coaches, this seminar will teach you progressions, signals, and technical details to improve your analysis for Olympic lifts.

Course objectives:

  • Understand the Chinese philosophy of weightlifting and its scientific principles to understand why its techniques are effective.
  • Master a 7-part progression to perform a full snatch, even if you’re a complete beginner.
  • Learn a 6-movement progression to perform a complete clean.
  • Discover the 5 progressive movements that will allow you to perform a squat jerk and a split jerk like a real pro.
  • But Strength seminars are certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and can be redeemed for 14 continuing education credits (CEUs). Check with your organization to determine CEU redemption options.
  • MaStrength seminars are approved by CrossFit and can be redeemed for 14 continuing education credits (CEUs).
